“Lovecraft After Dark,” a is new collection of erotic horror from JWK Fiction, edited by James Ward Kirk and Roger Cowin. We offer short fiction and poetry blending erotica with the Mythos. Erotic encounters, forbidden romances between humans and the gods and demons of Lovecraft’s world. Ever wonder what obscene romance produced the human / elder god hybrid, Wilbur Whateley? How did the Black Goat of the Wood come to have a thousand young? These are just a few of the ideas explored in “Lovecraft After Dark.” Explore what Lovecraft only hinted at. “It’s a little too extreme for our tastes…”
For writers of Splatter Horror getting stuff like this from editors can be really depressing. I’m a fan of extreme horror myself. I love reading the works of Jack Ketchum, Clive Barker, Poppy Z. Brite, Edward Lee, Joe Lansdale… I’m not turned off by gore, as long as it’s done right. This is why I got really excited when I saw the open call for a Splatterpunk anthology by editor and blogger, Fox Emm. A reprint of my story, “Hitchhiker” will be appearing in this collection.
Kindly support our Kickstarter Project. You can choose among a variety of package options. You can be the proud owner of Original Horror Artwork, or own a signed copy of the book, or have your name mentioned in the book, etc.

Bad Neighborhood by Spooky Words Press is a themed anthology for extreme horror fans. In this chilling horror collection, 29 writers and poets have come together to share tales of the grotesque, the supernatural, and more. Their words will pluck you from your comfort zone and leave you for dead, or worse. Have you ever considered where evil bides its time when it’s not outside your door? What disturbing locale could make it feel safe? We’ve all heard that home is where the heart is, but alas, that heart is sometimes racing… We hope you live in a good neighborhood.

So… How’ve you been? OMG everything’s been sooo crazy lately and by crazy I mean I’ve been so busy scrubbing floors and figuring out how to install floating shelves in my new place.
Anyway, I’m really excited to get my copy of Gothic Tales of Terror (for my new shelf) coz guess what, the book is now available on Amazon!! This is so awesome coz it features my Gothic horror story, “Hysteria”. It’s set in the Victorian era and it’s about a woman who came across an inheritance and discovered some dark and terrible family secrets. I’m very proud to have my work featured along with some really great authors.
Gothic Tales of Terror is a collection of stories and poems about love, tragedy, and the supernatural that scare without gore and envelop you in their dark, eerie mood. If you enjoy classic Victorian Gothic horror, you’ll love this collection.

Hello! 🙂 I’m very proud to announce that my Gothic horror tale, “Hysteria” will make its debut in Gothic Tales of Terror by Verto Publishing. The antho will be released this October! Just in time for your pre-Halloween reading.
Love, tragedy, and the supernatural…
Gothic Tales of Terror is a collection of stories in the Victorian Gothic vein of Bram Stoker, Edgar Allan Poe, and Mary Shelley. I’m glad I had the opportunity to channel my inner M.R. James in writing this story. 🙂

Hey! Hope everything’s fine with you. 🙂 I’ve been a little busy lately. But I’m really excited about sharing with you a couple of awesome new reviews. One is for my book, 100 Nightmares and one is for Floppy Shoes Apocalypse, an anthology by JEA Press.
It makes me really happy to see that one year after its publication, 100 Nightmares is still getting some great reviews from book review sites. Wende from Julie’s Book Review said that it’s: “A wild twisted ride from start to finish… Morano did an outstanding freaky fantastic job!”
I would also like to thank Dave of the Horror Cabin for saying some nice stuff about my story, “They Died Laughing” in Floppy Shoes Apocalypse. According to him it’s: “As oddly arousing as it is freakishly disturbing…”
If you have a thing for killer clowns and you haven’t grabbed a copy of FSA yet, head over to Amazon! Plenty of amazing authors and stories in this book…
And of course, don’t forget to write a review! 😉

Hey!!! Missing you. Hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day. ❤ ❤ ❤
Aaanyway, now that THAT’s over, let’s get down to the REAL meaning of February. February is WOMEN IN HORROR MONTH!
Yes, for 28 days, we celebrate and highlight all the fabulous and filthy minded ladies in the horror industry. 😉 So I made a little list of my favorite female horror writers to update you on their latest works. They’re all very talented authors and I’m proud to call them my friends. 🙂 I hope that you check out their pages and support their projects because their stories really deserve to be read.
1) Lori R. Lopez has a bizarre and beautiful imagination.
Her latest collection, Odds And Ends: A Dark Collection is an assortment of the weird and wonderfully grim. The book consists of twenty-six original tales with various themes, flash fiction, micro-fiction, and essays.
The multi-talented Ms. Lopez does her own artwork and book covers!
Lori has published several solo projects which you can view by visiting her amazon author page: http://www.amazon.com/Lori-R.-Lopez/e/B003WJFUN8
In fact, one of her stories, Spider Soup is currently FREE on Amazon!!
Lori Lopez appears in several anthologies including Dead Harvest: A Collection of Dark Tales which consists of 50 scary stories from both big and soon-to-be-big names in the industry. This is definitely on my to-read list! 🙂
For updates on tours, interviews and published works, check out Lori’s site: http://fairyflyentertainment.com/

2) I’ve always admired authors with a talent for combining the erotic and the horrific.
Magenta Nero’s writing is strange, scary, and sensual.
She is a regular contributor to The Pen of the Damned and this is a link to one of her excellent stories, “LaLupa” : http://penofthedamned.com/2015/01/13/lalupa/
Magenta’s works appear/ are to appear in several anthologies such as the soon-to-be-released title, Undead Legacy from J Ellington Ashton Press and WetWorks.
Meanwhile, be sure to follow her blog: https://magentanero.wordpress.com/ to read some of her works of fiction.

3) Dona Fox writes stories that actually move you.
If you’re looking for quality horror stories then take a look at her Amazon author page http://www.amazon.com/Dona-Fox/e/B00GUQTWPM
Read Dona Fox’s Editor’s Choice Award-winning story: “The Grays of Ribbon Ridge” in The Grays anthology from JWK Fiction.
I’m also happy to announce that I’ll be sharing pages with Ms. Fox in a new Thirteen O’Clock Press antho, The Witch’s Cauldron, edited by Dorothy Davies.
Meanwhile, be sure to read one of Dona’s outstanding pieces in Rejected For Content: Splattergore (Volume 1), a collection of the most hard-core, blasphemous, violent, gory, explicit short stories available!
4) Mary Genevieve Fortier is a brilliant poet. She is also one of the sweetest, kindest horror writers I’ve ever met. 🙂
