A SHADOW OF AUTUMN is now available on Kindle!

Fall—a season as beautiful as it is foreboding.

A Shadow of Autumn takes you back to childhood nostalgia while peeling away the mask to reveal things that haunt your worst nightmares. Within these pages, you’ll find the usual denizens of the holiday—demons, witches, ghosts, and bloodsuckers—along with strange and unknown creatures lurking everywhere from innocuous cornfields and pumpkin patches to basement hatches and high school dances.

These fourteen tales of fall magic and Halloween horrors will keep you looking over your shoulder long after the last light of October has waned.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

New Reviews!

Hey! Hope everything’s fine with you. 🙂 I’ve been a little busy lately. But I’m really excited about sharing with you a couple of awesome new reviews. One is for my book, 100 Nightmares and one is for Floppy Shoes Apocalypse, an anthology by JEA Press.

It makes me really happy to see that one year after its publication, 100 Nightmares is still getting some great reviews from book review sites. Wende from Julie’s Book Review said that it’s: “A wild twisted ride from start to finish… Morano did an outstanding freaky fantastic job!”

I would also like to thank Dave of the Horror Cabin for saying some nice stuff about my story, “They Died Laughing” in Floppy Shoes Apocalypse. According to him it’s: “As oddly arousing as it is freakishly disturbing…”

If you have a thing for killer clowns and you haven’t grabbed a copy of FSA yet, head over to Amazon! Plenty of amazing authors and stories in this book…

And of course, don’t forget to write a review! 😉

Amok is a finalist for the 2014 Aurealis Awards

Hey! What’s up? So it’s officially summertime here and I had a really awesome day. I visited my cousins in the country. Chickens, pigs, cornfields, rice fields, lemon trees and all that… and fresh air and super clean water and playing cards on the porch while sipping on the BEST. LEMONADE. EVER. I had a really wonderful time. 🙂

Also, it is with great joy that I announce the inclusion of Amok: An Anthology of Asia-Pacific Speculative Fiction in the list of finalists for the 2014 Aurealis Awards under the Best Anthology category. Yay!!! 🙂
