Carpe Diem: Daily Haiku 85

Inspiration Haiku by Onitsura:

tani-mizu ya ishi mo utayomu yama-zakura

the wild cherry:
stones also are singing their songs
in the valley stream

kinugawa9

From the stones’ cool throat
Spring ballads composed by the
Stream’s velvet coaxing

Wistful ballads pass
Between stones and spring blossoms
Long distance affair

Stream stones cantillate
A sweet muffled serenade
For those who listen

A masterpiece KZ. Thank you for your daily effort to write and share your haiku with Carpe Diem.

Oh, but once in the Swedish Mountains we were tenting next to a stream when it started to rain. As the water started to rise big rocks started to tumble… More like thunder actually 🙂
