Carpe Diem: Daily Haiku 52

Cheek to cheek beneath
The stars of Buenos Aires
Lovers’ last tango.

Forward and backward
In elegant misery
Tango in solo.

Word for today: Tango

from my fave movie.. seen it? ^^

  1. Well….a tango always brings the best out of some. 1st haiku is a thriller..I mean like a dark detective story or story of illicit lust; the ”last” tango..mysterious….moody…atmospheric..this is both tango and haiku for me. The last one…didn’t know why there had to be ”precision”….as for your 2nd, yes..elegant misery..a really beautiful term, definitely the word if she is alone, and a lonely, poignant, sensual haiku.

    • i guess it’s just the way i’ve always seen the movements in tango..like very precise and strict, but at the same time it doesn’t look stiff. haha i didn’t know how to express that, not sure of the words. thanks ^^

  2. The…soul of the dance is there…in your haiku…in those moves…elegant misery. Love the video. When thinking of tango, the first movie comes in my mind is Al Pacino and “Scent of a woman”:
