If I would be given the chance
To have all of eternity
To sing and dance,
Hold on to my beauty,
And live a million lives,
I think I’d rather not…
Alone exploring the unexplored,
I would be sorely bored;
Tasting the untasted,
But my existence, wasted.
I’ll watch with a tearful eye,
As everything withers and die…
I’d be living life without the thirst,
‘til it’s time for you to leave me first.
I’d be forever young
But tell me, for who?
I’d rather swim in the depths of hell,
Than live forever without you.
If there were a real Fountain of Youth, would you drink the water?
